In most cases, rolling papers come in pre-determined sizes, including regular, king, and queen sizes. The problem with this is it does not allow you full creativity and customization of your smoke. Now, we understand this concept may be new to some smokers, so here is a guide on using your High Roller Kit!
The Rolling Paper.
Grab the little piece of rolling paper you pulled out and gently pull the paper until it reaches your desired length! Tear the paper from one side to the other. Hold it down by folding the top and gripping it firmly.
Open and Close the Flaps
There are two main sections of the High Roller Kit, the box section that holds the paper and the section that holds the tips. Kick things off by opening the flaps that secure the roll of paper and pull out a strip of paper! Pull just enough that you can have a piece to hold on to and pull. Close the flaps behind the paper to keep that roll snug and in place.
The Tips
The tips will be in a booklet above the rolling paper. Filter Tips help you enjoy your joint by:
- Keeps the end of your joint open (even when sharing with wet-lipped friends)
- Adds support to a joint, keeping it straight
- Blocks bits of plant matter from getting in your mouth
- Ensures your lips and fingers don’t burn as you puff down to the roach
Tear off a tip from the booklet and roll using the perforations to get you started. Make a few folds at the end of your filter tip, making the folds about as wide as you want the final tip to be. Be sure not to crease the paper when you’re folding it, otherwise, the final crutch will be too tight.
How many folds to use is up to you. Some people talk about making an “M” shape inside the filter tip, while others opt for a simple “V.” Experiment to find out what you like best.
Once you’ve made those first few folds, roll the remaining filter material around the folded part. Make sure you have enough unfolded paper to wrap completely around the crutch—you want the final product to roll easily between your fingers.
The Fill
Use a grinder to separate and evenly grind up the flower. Pick the bud apart with your fingers if you don’t have a grinder. Work gently to minimize damage to the herb trichomes as you remove any stems or seeds and make the pieces more or less the same small size. Place the filter at one end of your rolling paper.
Lay the rolling paper on the rolling tray with the adhesive side away from you. Position the crutch where you want the mouthpiece to be and sprinkle ground flower onto the paper in a column in line with the crutch. Evenly spread the flower throughout the joint and avoid overstuffing. To roll a cone joint, sprinkle less flower near the mouthpiece and more towards the tip, tapering as you move along.
